All processes, from the design to cutting and sewing of leather components to packaging and shipping, take place within the company. Moreschi’s expert shoemakers create each individual pair of shoes through a complex series of stages involving work by hand and the use of modern machinery. With stores throughout the world, from Milan to Hong Kong, they are one of Italy’s premier shoe manufacturers.
Moreschi shoes are projected and designed within the company. A refined CAD software for the design phase is the only computerized element in the production process. The leather warehouse is the key-element of the factory, where many kinds of leathers and skins for the uppers are stored. The top-quality skins stored in the warehouse cover up to one year’s production. About 50% of the process in a shoe factory is employed in the sewing department.
